Uses

It is mainly used in denture processing factories to complete the crystallization and sintering of zirconia crowns. It can also be used in colleges and universities, scientific research institutions, industrial and mining enterprises for high-temperature sintering and metal annealing, etc.

Structural Features

Heating elements: Common ones include 1800 pure-type heating rods. Some sintering furnaces use silicon-molybdenum rods as heating elements, which have the characteristics of high temperature resistance and oxidation resistance. Others use resistance wires as heating elements, which have relatively low costs.

Furnace chamber materials: High-purity alumina polycrystalline fiber materials are mostly selected, which have good thermal insulation performance and obvious energy-saving effects. The surface of some furnace chambers is coated with imported high-temperature alumina coating, which can improve heating efficiency and service life.

Furnace body structure: There is a bottom-loading mode, which makes loading and unloading convenient. Others adopt an integrated design, with small size and light weight, which can be operated in a glove box and a fume hood. They are also equipped with quartz tubes and stainless steel flanges, and can heat-treat samples in a vacuum or atmosphere-protected environment.

Performance Characteristics

Precise Temperature Control: It has a wide temperature control range, usually adopting an intelligent touch screen PID adjustment and microcomputer control. It can realize 30 or even 50 segments of programmable temperature control curves, without the need for值守 (on-duty monitoring), and has high temperature control accuracy.

Uniform Temperature Field: The furnace chamber adopts a six-sided heating method. Compared with traditional muffle furnaces, the temperature field is more uniform, and the fired zirconia products have better permeability and consistency.

Safe and Reliable: It has functions such as over-temperature alarm and power-off, leakage protection, etc. The furnace body is isolated from the furnace chamber by air cooling, and the furnace wall temperature is close to room temperature, ensuring safe operation.

Strong Process Adaptability: Some sintering furnaces have a patented airflow guiding design. Through the cooperation of the vortex air intake structure and the top honeycomb flow equalizing plate, the problem of local overburning is solved. They can also preset multiple process curves including degreasing, phase transformation, etc., and automatically optimize the heating slope to avoid cracking of the green body.

Working Principle

It uses heating elements for heating, detects the temperature through a thermocouple, and feeds the temperature signal back to the programmable temperature controller. The controller adopts a PID automatic temperature control system, which automatically adjusts the heating power according to the set program and the feedback temperature signal to achieve precise control of the temperature in the furnace chamber, so as to meet the temperature requirements for zirconia sintering.
